Strategic Capital Partners

Strategic Capital Partners was formed in 2005, led by Gene Zink and Rich Horn, former executives of Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), who managed the REIT’s growth over a 10 year period (1993 to 2004) from $700 million to $10 billion, creating and operating a mixed portfolio of office, industrial, and retail of 120 million square feet across 15 states. Gene was an original founder of Duke Realty and served as its CFO and Chairman of the Investment Committee while Rich spent 20 years at Duke Realty and served as President from 2000 to 2002. Several SCP professionals worked at Duke and in the private equity and brokerage sectors prior to joining the firm and have deep market experience in many of Duke’s former portfolio locations. SCP has narrowed their focus to targeted, prime in-fill locations within high growth secondary cities such as Raleigh, Nashville, Indianapolis and Northern Virginia.
